Giving birth is THE most transformative experience of your life. Your birth story is the first step into the rest of your motherhood journey. Whether this is your first or fourth baby, bringing your baby earthside impacts you down to your DNA. My job as your birth photographer is to not only capture this new life coming into this world, but your journey through the birth portal that will show you just how strong you are.

Capturing your birth

Photographing birth stories is not simply a job for me, but a role of witness to one of the most empowering journeys you will take as a mother.
The birth space is sacred and I enter into it know that birth is unpredictable, miraculous, and beautiful.

My goal when documenting your birth is to capture your full story, become a person you trust to be a part of your story, and delivery a gallery of images that are a reminder of your strength and love.

The Birth Story

Each birth story package includes one on one meetings to connect, on call support from 37 weeks on, thoughtfully curated and edited images that capture your labor and delivery and those first earthside moments. Doula services are also available if you are seeking additional support.

MY APPROACH

Together, we create heirloom imagery capturing memories for your unfolding love story.

01. Connect

First things first, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported throughout this entire process. Before booking, we’ll set up a phone call to discuss your birth plan, more about you and your family, and everything in between.

02. Plan

Each birth package includes up to two prenatal consultations, one phone call and one in person when possible. I don’t want to be a stranger in your birth space. My goal is for you to be able to share your dreams, to be able to support you, and to get to know you and your family

03. Shoot

At Once labor begins, you’ll be in touch with me to keep me posted on your progress and together we decide when you’d like me to arrive. There is nothing you need to do once I arrive. My job is to capture your story as it unfolds.

  • I accept home, birth center, and hospital births within two hours of the Sacramento and Placer Counties. Some acceptations may apply so don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • To be able to stay on call and balance mom life, I only book a very limited number of births per month. As soon as you are sure that I am the photographer for you, let’s get you on my calendar.

  • Currently, I offer doula services to a select number of clients. Again, my goal is to provide the best support possible and can do that by limiting the number of mamas I support at one time. Let’s chat more if that’s something you’re interested in adding on!
